New strategy will build, engage with and nurture the extended Bethesda franchise communities in Australia and New Zealand

Sydney, 9 August, 2018 Goto.game has won the Bethesda business to manage, nurture, grow and engage with the brand’s influencer and user communities. The one-year program will cover the extended Bethesda game franchises, including The Elder Scrolls®, Fallout®, DOOM®, QUAKE®, Wolfenstein®, Dishonored®, The Evil Within™, Prey® and RAGE®.

Goto.game will be assisting with social strategy development, content and concept development and delivery, management and support of an “always-on” influencer program, community and event activations, user-generated content nurture and publishing programs, and supporting Bethesda with its in-house Twitch/Mixer streaming. Goto.game will use Digivizer’s real-time analytics technology to report on channel performance, influencer and user-generated content, and content performance.

The Bethesda business comes on the back of an encouraging first year for goto.game, which launched in August 2017, backed by Digivizer, Australia’s leading social and digital analytics and activations company. Brands that work with goto.game include Intel, Legion by Lenovo, AK Racing, ZOTAC, Hybrid World, Gfinity Australia and Tainted Minds.

Emma Lo Russo, CEO of goto.game and Digivizer, said, “This partnership reflects the passion we have for providing brands with genuine, authentic and measurable returns from this exciting gaming and esports community of gamers and fans. Bethesda is an undisputed AAA publisher in its market and it’s exciting to be working with another global brand in our region to create an always-on, social, owned and earned program. As gaming and esports markets and businesses are growing at hyperspeed it is important to anchor program development and delivery, focused on relevant engagements with gamers and influencers, supported by data, to deliver greater ROI for those wanting to enter this space. Bethesda is a brand that cares deeply about its communities. We’re delighted to have Bethesda on board.”

Phid McAwesome, Head of goto.game, said, “This is an exciting win for goto.game. Bethesda is an awesome gaming brand with some of the gaming industry’s most-amazing titles. In our first year we’ve worked hard to build a new reputation across the APAC gaming and esports market, with a track record of creating communities around brands, and building a specialization that talks to gamers, brands, influencers  and their communities in their language. It is great to see that this specialization is providing value for big brands such as Bethesda.”

David Robles, Marketing Director, Bethesda Australia & New Zealand, said, “Bethesda continues to be amongst best-in-class for community in our existing franchises, and we want to do much more with our communities, who are so important to us. Goto.game gives us additional and genuine gaming expertise, resources and skills  in influencer engagement, content creation, community engagement, events and measurements, so we can create new ways to present our brand in meaningful ways to our gaming fans.”
Goto.game is dedicated to the gaming industry, gamers and gaming content creators with the aim of bringing Digivizer’s wealth of knowledge and technology analytics and social activations to a wider audience. Goto.game is the go-to destination for influencer management, industry activations and promotions, daily updates, news, reviews, streams and gaming opinions.
